New Orla Kiely bags

Just a quick note to say Happy New Year to everyone! I've been a bit quiet lately because of the mania that is The Sale! We took a whopping 50% off pretty much all of our A/W collection so you can imagine how many orders we've had through. There are still a few gorgeous dresses left so have a look here.

Plus our new Orla Kiely S/S bags are in and they're flying out! I don't think they're even on the Orla website yet so everyone's buying them from us - which is brilliant! Keep those orders coming! For those of you who haven't seen the new Big Summer Flower pattern, here's the Midi Sling (available here):

We also have the wallet, shoulder bag, handbag and baby changing bag, complete with changing mat for all you Yummy Mummies! You'd be one of the first people to get your mits on the range so view and order here. Usually with Orla Kiely bags, if you order before 2pm on a weekday you'll get it the next working day as I send them by Special Delivery. No guarantees (in case I'm off sick of the postman doesn't come, etc!!) but that's usually the case :o)

Right, just enough time to write a couple more delivery notes before home time....

Orla Kiely handbag phenomena

Come on, own up, who's ordered seven Orla Kiely bags today under different names? Oh, nobody? Must be genuine orders then...should probably package them up, including this Orla Kiely cross stitch caraway bag...
Likey? Wanty? Be quick, there's only one left (in our Warwick shop if you don't have £295 spare and would just like to go and touch it). Someone bagged (geddit?) themselves a bargain as they used a 10% discount code

In other news, it's the weekend! What are you up to? Tonight I'm taking a gorgeous boy (a model, no less) out to dinner...don't worry, admirers - he's only five. Tomorrow I have to make as many scarves as possible (18 orders, eek!), and meet a friend and babysit, and Sunday I'm covering in Stratford...no rest for the wicked! Next week, though, I'm off to Dorset with my new beautiful lovely lovely weekend bag (below) where the most I'll do is run on the beach with the pup.
although I do secretly a little bit wish I still had the boyfriend in the City as I could have this Pretty City London overnight bag instead...
Right, enough chit-chat, must work....or maybe have lunch. Yes, lunch.....

What To Wear Wednesdays - Power Wednesday!

Cooey!

I fancy a Power Wednesday. Wednesdays are my least favourite day - it always feels like it should be Thursday. So the best way to get through is to have a Power day - get loads done, keep really busy, and time will fly! And then of course it's off to the cinema for a cheeky 241. What's on this week?

The thing about Power Wednesdays is....you have to dress the part! You can't get lots of work done in your PJs and slippers (we know that's what you do, "working from home" people!) or your standard reliable comfortable jersey dress and ballerinas. Oh no. Did you ever learn anything on a non-uniform day at school? Of course not. So it's time to dress yourself properly. Next week wear something like this.....

What to wear Wednesdays - Power Wednesday!
...and I'm positive it'll make a difference to your productivity! Or else you could waste hours showing everyone your new handbag or stroking the crushed velvet bows on the shoes....

What's your least favourite day of the week? Do you have any tips for survival?

Let me know, I need your help!
