40% off Fever Dotty Peplum Dresses!

Good Afternoon!
Firstly I am going to apologise for my complete lack of blogging and competitioning and generally anything related to social networking. Believe it or not I have been exceptionally busy - not helped by having 2 weeks off. Sigh.
Anyway, to tickle your taste buds we are doing a fabulous offer this week exclusive to the website! We are giving you 40% off our fabulous Fever Dotty Peplum dresses. Yes 40% off! They were £55 and are now only a snip at £33. They are such fabulous dresses too and super flattering so I think we're onto a winner with these.
40% off Fever Dotty Peplum Dresses!

I hope you like them as much as we do! We don't have many left in stock so I hope you get yours before they run out!

Talking of running out ... have you bought your fashion show tickets yet?! As I am sure most of you already know we are having another fashion show at our Solihull shop to celebrate it being open for 1 year! There will be choccies, bubbly and even a free goodie bag. Our Fabulous Friday Winner!

Again you did not disappoint this week but for me there was one clear winner and that is Louise who posted earlier on the blog! Louise if you can email me your address to aimee@aspirestyle.co.uk then I will post your hottie out to you!

Well next week I am afraid there is be no Thank Freebie It's Friday because I am off for the week which will be positively fabulous if you ask me! You will have to wait for 2 weeks for the next giveaway. In the mean time though here are a few things that have arrived this week to tickle your taste buds...

Trollied Dolly Bold and Bowtiful £55
This fabulous shape was a firm favourite from the Trollied range for Spring/Summer and I think it is bound be another winner this season too. As we all know horizontal stripes are usually a no no unless you're Kate Moss but there is something about the way that the material has been cut and sewn together that makes your waist seem to vanish!

Emily and Fin Lucy Leopard - £55
As you all know I am a massive fan of the Lucy dress from last season, with its gorgeous shape, pretty button detail on the back and big pockets to keep sweeties in! So you can imagine my excitement when I walked in this morning to find this beauty hanging on the rails! I untagged it immediately and put it on. Absolutely perfect for a funky winter look with cardi and boots - it is a winner in my book!

That is all for now I am afraid, I have to gather my things and leave my desk for a week. But I shall be back, calm, relaxed and full of brand new ideas! In the mean time please keep getting your friends to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. If you sign up to the newsletter there may be a little treat in store next weekend!

(Louise don't forget to email me - I want you to get your hottie before you go camping!!)

Thank Freebie It's Friday!

Good Morning everybody!
I hope you are all well on this very chilly morning! It is our first newly named "Thank Freebie It's Friday" and as it is so cold I thought you might appreciate a lovely snuggly little hand warmer, or hottie as I like to call them! The one I am giving away is in its own miniature hot water bottle cover with a super cute owl motif on it! They are not currently online to view as they only came in this very morning so you will have to trust me that it is definitely a worthwhile prize - so much so that I am considering entering myself.
Its just a simple question this week but because of that I want as many of you to enter as possible as you have no excuse! Today is the autumn equinox which means that the hours of light and darkness are about equal. This only means one thing though; winter is fast approaching and with it are the long nights!
All I want you to tell me is, what is your favourite thing about Autumn?! Simple right? There is no catch! Post your answers below, on our Facebook page or on Twitter!
Good luck!

Friday Giveaway!!!

So I have been thinking long and hard about what we can call these little giveaways that will be happening on Fridays. Catie used to have Why Not Wednesdays which I loved but I am rarely here on a Wednesday so it wouldn't work - you can't really have a why not Wednesday on a Thursday! Plus its nice to have a bit of change.

So my competition for you today my lovelies is for the person who can come up with the best name for my new Friday giveaway!!

I haven't picked your prize yet but I know that we have just had a delivery of some new bits and pieces. So, while you think of your answers and post them here, on Facebook or Twitter, I will head downstairs and find a fabulous prize for you!!

Rugby World Cup - Celebratory Give away!

As I am sure many of you are aware, the Rugby World Cup is kicking off today. This could bring joy to the lives of some but I am sure for most of you it means that you will be losing your man, or any potential man, to the game over the next 6 weeks. Not only this but as it is being held in New Zealand the sound of alarm clocks across the nation will be sounding out at 2am or 4am to catch kick off.

I felt that you would all need something to cheer you up in this time of need and so will be doing a give away every week for the next 6 weeks to the person that I think is most worthy of a prize! Each give away start on a Friday and the winner will be announced on the Monday.

This week I will be giving away a fabulous watch necklace to the person who can tell me the best thing to get out of bed for....

Ready

Steady

GO!!!

Good Luck!

Fabulous Autumn Winter Collections

It is that time of year again! Yes thats right! X Factor has started and is well on its way to being another fabulous series. But you all know what that means.... I personally feel like its my weekly count down to Christmas - the winner is usually Christmas number one after all! I know alot of you will think I have literally just fallen off a Christmas tree to be excited about the festive period so soon in the year buts its hard not to be when I am surrounded by wonderful wintery things that I can't wait to get on my wish list!
This time last year I was headed off to India as the first stop of my tour of the world so I missed the winter. Please don't curse me at this point, I know it was a harsh one last year! Anyway, this year we have lots of things to brighten up even the most miserable of days. Take a look a this fabulous Fever dress for example, it just screams winter chic don't you think?!
Fever Canada Dress, £69

Ok ok ok, perhaps I am a little premature in my excitement. We have had some fabulous transitional items in however. Its that kind of temperature at the moment where you're not sure whether to wear a summer dress or boots and a scarf but I think this little assortment will be perfect for now.
Uttam Boutique Wilona £49

Rise (one of our new brands) Alexia Lace Dress £45 (Also available in red)

If those few pieces don't tickle your fancy then check out our website as I am sure there will be something that does. There is definitely something for everyone! If dresses aren't you're thing, we have had some fabulous new bags in from Nica which are proving very popular in the shops.
Nica Sinead Satchel £55

Rain rain go away

Good Afternoon all,

As I said in my last blog I have been useless at writing and telling you what is going on in Aspire world but it is because we have been so busy that I have not been able to talk to you all.
As all of you are probably aware we are in the middle of our fabulous summer sale which I hope you have made the most of. We have had an amazing 50% off all of our beautiful summer clothes, shoes and bags. Unfortunately we will be taking the majority out of the shops there will still be some bargains to be had online

This fabulous Fever Dotty Shift was £55 but is now only £27.50 (it is also available in navy)

I hope you are all signed up to our newsletter because we are giving you an extra 10% off everything for this bank holiday weekend too - online and in store! Long Time No Speak

Good Afternoon all you wonderful people!

Firstly I would like to start with a huge apology for being so completely and utterly rubbish at writing recently! Time has just flown by so so speedily I just haven't had time to type. I know that's a lame excuse but I'm sorry to say it's true. It's not all pretty dresses and sparkly jewellery in this job you know. Who am I kidding, of course it is! Never mind, as I said I am very sorry.
Anyway, hopefully you will all have got your newsletter in your inboxes this morning giving you 15% off everything (use the code July11 online or print off your email and use it in store). I couldn't believe how generous we were being but yes it is 15% and it is off everything - including online sale items! Well if that's not enough to tempt you into making some purchases how about some of these fabulous new dresses we've got from our new favourite brand Collectif!
The fabulous Sindy Doll dress - £65

Regina Dolly in Navy - £59 (also available in red)
Dolores Knot Dress - £49 (and yes that is a seagull print !)

Well for all of you who are regular visitors to our website you will know we have been gradually adding more and more Collectif dresses over the past couple of weeks but these three are our newest and most favouritest of them all! Even better than the amazing prices, beautiful cuts, and eye catching designs is that they have a tendency to come up a little on the large side which means we can all wear sizes that we don't normally fit in! What could you want more than a little confidence booster around this time of year? If you want to see these dresses in the flesh head down to our Oxford and Solihull shops who are holding our biggest range of Collectif.

Anyway, just keeping it short and sweet today, I will be back next week to fill you in with more exciting things. In the meantime I hope you all enjoy the 15% off weekend!

Aspire Fashion Event

Good Afternoon all!

Its just a quick one today as I have lots to crack on with this afternoon. I'm still trying to make it into a nice cosy home for myself so this afternoon will comprise of lots of moving of furniture which sounds fun, but I will no doubt begin to regret my decision half way through and want to change it back to how it was before! Also I'm wearing the very pretty, but totally impractical  Emily and Fin Lucy dress today which is probably not the most appropriate outfit for furniture removal! But what's a girl to do!

Anyway, I just wanted to know if you had heard about our fashion event that we are holding in a few weeks time? Well for those of you who haven't heard, yes I may have given it away somewhat already, we are holding a fabulous fashion event and it will only cost you £5! It will be held at our Solihull branch at 7pm on Thursday 30th June. We are limited as to the number of seats available so you've not got long to get them while they're still available.
I guess by now you're wondering what you get for your £5? Well, we will be delighting you with a fabulous fashion show of all of our new and most loved items. Some of the Aspire girls will also be making an appearance on the runway so watch out for them! You also get a glass of bubbly and some yummy cupcakes on arrival and you get 15% off everything on the night. Yes that's right, everything. Including all of your favourites;

Trollied Dolly Twist n Shout Cherries - normally £55 on the night you'll pay £46.75

Fever Sea Mist Maxi dress - normally £69 or £58.65 on the night

Fabulous silver word bracelets (also available in gold) - originally £5.99 but only £5.10 on the night!

If getting this exclusive discount isn't enough for you, there will also be a raffle where we will be giving away lots of fantastic goodies. All the proceeds from this event will be going to the British Heart Foundation . I don't think there is any better way of spending a midweek evening than bringing a group of girlfriends, or even you're mum, to this fantastic, and very exclusive event.

So what are you waiting for; tickets are available to buy from all four of our shops; Solihull, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick and Oxford. Can't make it down to the shops? Just give us a call on 0121 7091110 and we'll post the tickets out to you free of charge! Otherwise get in touch with me by email on shop@aspirestyle.co.uk.

Look forward to seeing lots of you there!

Is that sunshine I see?

Good afternoon all you glamorous ladies!

I do hope you are all well and enjoying what seems to be the slow appearing sunshine. Could it last over the weekend? Here's hoping!
Well I seem to have settled in quite nicely now. I have really got into the swing of things which is good news for everyone. I have had a few internet connection related dramas but there is nothing a minor complaint and a little sweet talking can't do to get a man in a van out to fix the cables! Anyway, that is why it has been a little quiet on the blog and twitter front but I am back in action now.

It has been a busy old week here in Stratford, the tourists are really coming out in force now which is both a good and a bad thing. Lots of new things have been arriving on a daily basis which is been very exciting. I know last time I blogged I harped on about the new Emily and Fin dresses but this week we have received more and they are ten times more deliciously irresistible than before. I absolutely love the shape of them, so beautifully flattering, yet super easy to wear (which in my opinion is the only way dresses should be!).

My absolute firm favourite is the Ella dress in this amazing fruity print! It's only £55 which I think is a bargain for something so fabulous!

It is 100% cotton and machine washable which is why it is going to be a permanent fixture in my summer wardrobe! For those of you with slim waists it is perfect as it nips you in beautifully in all the right places. The little off the shoulder sleeve was a questionable feature for me but I wouldn't change it for the world now and I am now fully embracing the off the shoulder, 50s style to the full! The pear print is also right on trend this season. Fruity perfection!

Ok ok; enough about the Ella I hear you cry, check these beauties out
The ever popular Lucy in a new graphic grey and white, £49
A new style here ladies, Rachel is only £55!

That is all for today I am afraid, I have to crack on with some spring cleaning.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend, fingers crossed the clouds go away and the sun starts shining.

Welcome to the stage.....

Good Afternoon All!!

Well here I am, the new Catie!! Hopefully I will do a good a job as she did in keeping you all up to date on the comings and goings at Aspire! Well, to all those of you who don't know I am Aimee! I used to work in the shop in Oxford as their junior manager but then after alot of thinking I decided to leave the company (shock horror), pack my bags and head off travelling the world. After six months away I am back in the arms of the Aspire team! I have to admit it is lovely to be back, in a different location admittedly, but back all the same!
I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better and hopefully you will get to know me - slowly but surely though as I am very new to this blogging and twittering lark!

In the mean time, here's a few bits to tickle your fancy from our amazing new brand Emily and Fin. Since the Lucy dress went down so well with you all I thought you would LOVE these new bits.
Emily and Fin Ella £55

Emily and Fin Gloria £55

Aren't they just super cute and perfect for the summer. Keep on wishing girls, the sun is beginning to shine!!! If the sun doesn't shine stick on a pair of tights and a cardi and you're set! Plus it's free P&P on these dresses so you have no excuse!!

Emily and Fin

Sorry it has been such a very long time since I last blogged. Let me make up for it now with some excellent news: we now stock Emily and Fin!

So far we have four styles, although I believe we are expecting some more any day now. Today I am wearing this:
Emily and Fin Lucy, purpleLucy dress, purples, £49

It also comes in this colourway, which I may get if I have a moment of bravery (not sure I'd feel comfortable with something so bright although the girls keep saying it will look fab with my colouring):
Emily and Fin Lucy, pinks
Something I didn't even realise about the dress until about an hour ago is that it has pockets!! Brilliant. I do like a good hidey-hole for secret Maoam etc.

Right, tons to do, got some new Little Mistress dresses which unfortunately the suppler doesn't provide images of, so it's up to me to photograph and edit. I hope you're all looking forward to the hilarious blurred edges and seeing parts of the mannequin through the dress because they're all made of floaty see-throughy material. Must get round to a Photoshop course.

Happy Easter!

Monday blues, anyone?

Hello all! How are we all today? What did everyone get up to at the weekend?

I've been a little bit poorly and still feeling very very tired today. So I thought, what might perk me up? And I think the answer is this....

Fever Tonga sundressTonga Sundress, £69

Is it too much, too soon? The sun has been shining for a few days now but will I be one of those silly people in inappropriately summery clothes if I buy this today and wear next time the sun comes out??

Help me. Advise me. Style me.

What makes you all happy on a day that you've got the Grumps or have been poorly? Other than browsing through the Aspire Style website of course and looking at all of our pretty things!!

Why not? Wednesday

I woke up this morning and thought, ooh I've beaten my alarm again, (you know when you wake up three minutes before your alarm?). That's nice. Nice to wake up naturally. Then I looked at my clock....5am. I've beaten my alarm by two hours and forty minutes. So I'll just go back to sleep. But you know what happens at 5am when you live in a small village in the middle of Warwickshire? Birds sing. Then it's 5.40, then 6.16, then 7.08 and then I'm just about to get up and start the day early when I start to doze. Then my alarm goes off and I turn it off and think, well I've been awake since 5am so I'm hardly likely to go to sleep now. Wrong. All of a sudden it's 8.32. ARGH! And then I did that thing when you wake up late and you're so aware that you're late that you become really super-efficient, so I ended up making it to work ten minutes early and wondering why I ever get up before 8.32.

Aaaaanyway, it's made me decide on the giveaway for today! An alarm clock of course!
Bake a like alarm clock
For your chance to win simply tell me a funny story about a time you've been late. Obviously I would also really appreciate it if you signed up to our newsletter - it goes out about once a month with a special offer or a preview etc - and if you could spread the love for Aspire by recommended us to simply all of your friends!! :o)

Feeling a bit zombie-ish now that the adrenaline has gone...time for a coffee I think xx

New Nica bag

Mondays are always busy-busy now-now-now get-orders-done days, then Tuesdays come around and they are typically job days. You know the ones I mean, where you have lots of jobs to do, and although none of them are urgent, they're all fairly important, and you know they need to get done, but you'd rather not. Anyway that's what today is. Computer broken, need to fix it. Internet slow, need to sort it. New images through, need to edit them (although can't do this one: see previous two points). etc etc. I was rather lacking in motivation, but then I had a cup of tea and remembered I work for Aspire, the best shop ever! And I have to do all of these little niggly jobs because then I get to play with pretty things like this new Nica Bag, the Nica Bo in coral, £69:
Nica Bo, coral
Voila. Motivation found. Now where to find the Paint Shop Pro disk....

Anyone else have days like this? What motivates you to get the little jobs done? Help!

[It was going to be Spots vs Stripes but we don't seem to have anything stripy...]

Every buyers meeting now involves Emma (one of the owners) picking up something spotty and going oooohhh this is amazing oh my gosh, love it, yes, we'll take it, let's have it, I love it, it's so pretty, look at it! And the rest of us pulling a face that says remember what we talked about? to which she can only say oh right yes no more spots :o( -  but there's just something so cute and adorable about spotty dresses which is almost always irresistible, isn't there? Pretty Spring Dresses

Morning morning.

Please forgive my absence, I'd like to start making a list of excuses but let's face it...I've just been busy trying on all of the new clothes and generally playing around with pretty new jewellery and trying to decide which new Orla Kiely wallet to buy.

But anyway, I have finally exhausted these activities, and here's the proof:

Fever Bluebell dress, £69 - perfect for weddings

Darling Adele dress, £55 - so cute for a date in the sunshine

Fever Le Mans shift dress, £65 - ideal for adding a splash of colour to your office wardrobe.

Also Nica Bowie Tote, £75 - gorgeous whether you're wearing a suit or jeans.

There are more but I'm starting to feel extraordinarily self-conscious so let's stop there!!!

Anyway, take a look at our new Spring clothes and if you're in the market for a bargain then check out the updated sale part of our website. I will be back on the blog now, I promise! Let's do a competition soon, yeah??

Add a bikini and sunglasses and that's pretty much me done! I'll be sure to take some fabulous pictures and blog relentlessly about the sunshine when I'm back :o)
