10% DISCOUNT ALL WEEKEND!

Capital letters, how brash...but seriously, it's EXCITING, isn't it?!?!?!

Take a look online at a host of goodies available, including my new favourite, the Vintage Envelope Travel Pass holder. My Oyster card is looking pretty scraggy (is that even a word?) in its boring holder, and this beautiful travel pass is the perfect way to achieve a stylish swipe...although I can't guarantee it will make the shutters any less vicious/temperamental, or reduce queues for topping up credit. And at £9.95 (or £8.95 with the discount), it's a great bargain - you could even buy a few and hand them out for Christmas presents!

It's absolutely pouring down today (lots of umbrellas selling downstairs in the shop), and my office is très chilly so I've borrowed a Yumi faux fur jacket from the stock room, and let's face it, I'll be buying it later because it's AMAZING. I am all snuggly and warm and fluffy. It's like having my cat here with me. Here's my cat:

Don't worry, I won't turn into one of those nutters who posts endless pictures of her cat. Although, has everyone seen the Ikea advert?? TOO CUTE! It was a cinema advert on Wednesday - giant kittens!! Right, enough about cats. Who likes owls?! This hot water bottle is absolutely brililant!

Time to go before I start ranting about cute animals...I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Pass on the message about 10% off - the code is ALL10 - and get shopping!

Friday Floral Fix - Yumi Roslilly dress

I don't know if you've noticed, but it's been warm recently.  This agrees with me, because I have to worry less about coats working with cardigans working with dresses - it makes my mornings easier.  However, we mustn't get carried away by a bit of sunshine and temperatures reaching over 15 degrees; it's still Spring, people!  The weather can turn on you like a disloyal friend.  This is the time of year when the maxi dress truly shines - you get to keep your still-pale legs covered up, whilst embracing the warmth of the sun on your shoulders!  What's that? A chilly breeze?  Just chuck a cardigan on!  The Yumi Roslilly dress is an ideal purchase for Spring, and it'll see you through into Summer (especially on those days where you forget/simply can't be bothered to de-hair your legs).  It's also our cheapest maxi dress at £50:

Practical AND pretty.  My favourite combination.

Friday Floral Fix - Yumi Britte dress

We just got the Yumi Britte dress in this week, and I rushed to add all three colours to the website in time for Friday Floral Fix (I know how people have grown dependent on their weekly hit of flower-based fun).

Britte is a lovely dress with a classic rose print, and a waistband which ties in a big bow at the back.  Do you remember that favourite summer dress you had as a child (back in the days when your mum still dressed you)?  This is that dress, reincarnated.  It's available in grey, blue and pink, and currently we're the only shop online selling the blue and pink:

Which is your favourite?  Mine's the blue.  I'd happily have all three though, if you're offering!

Until next time,

Ria

New season clothes!

Once again, sorry for the extended absence; it's been pretty manic here at Aspire HQ with the winter sale and arrival of much of the new season's clothes.  Now I've had time to update the clothes on the website and gather my thoughts, here's my pick of the stock we've received in the last few weeks...

Ever since Darling dropped last week, their clothes have been flying off the rails.  One in particular flew into my hands: the Laurel dress, which I think is an absolute bargain at £45...

The Owl tea dress by Traffic People is another dress which may be entering my wardrobe very soon, especially since it's only £49.  I love its interesting straps and big bow...

Traffic People have also scored massively with the Maxi Ra Ra dress (£79) - we've nearly sold out in Stratford already, so hurry if you want to get one for yourself!

Another maxi dress which is proving popular is the Sea Mist maxi by Fever, who do maxis very well indeed.  This beautiful creation is no exception and well worth the £65...

As usual, Yumi have come up with some lovely pieces that are ideal for everyday wear.  My personal favourite is the Jinkie cardigan (£39) made of yummy soft jersey with pretty lace detail...

There's so much more at Aspire Style, be sure to check it out.  Next up - this season's hot shoes!

Until next time,

Ria
